Winners of the 2022 Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards, including one from India

This year’s Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards are back with a range of humorous photographs and up to 5,000 entries from around the world. Paul Joynson-Hicks and Tom Sullam, professional photographers and conservationists, launched the awards in 2015 to highlight lighthearted photography and the significance of wildlife conservation.

The winners of the 2022 Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards have been announced, and two Indians are among them. This year’s overall winner of the 2022 Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards was a photograph of a three-month-old lion cub falling out of a tree.

Jennifer Hadley’s photo “Not So Cat-Like Reflexes” is The overall winner of the Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards 2022.

Spectrum Photo Creatures in the Air Award

French photographer Jean Jacques Alcalay wins the Spectrum Photo Creatures in the Air Award for his photo titled ‘Misleading African viewpoints 2’.

Creatures Under the Sea Award

Creatures under the sea award goes to Spain’s photographer Arturo Telle Thiemann for his photograph ‘Say cheeeese’.

People’s Choice Award

In Jennifer Hadley’s photo, one penguin appears to be saying to the other, “Talk To The Fin!”

Junior Award

Junior Award goes to Indian photographer Arshdeep Singh’s picture. In this photo, an owl appears to wink in Arshdeep Singh’s “I See You, Boy!”

Amazing Internet Portfolio Award

A cooper’s hawk kicked a pine cone into the air in the photo series “Football Dream” by Jia Chen.
