Tallaght is set to welcome a cutting-edge communal working space in 2024, as Work IQ prepares to open a facility accommodating up to 60 businesses, including entrepreneurs, start-ups, and small to medium enterprises (SMEs). The establishment, situated in the newly developed Tallaght Innovation Quarter, is slated to commence operations early next year, aiming to facilitate the growth of over 700 jobs.
Encompassing an expansive 2,980 square metres, the centre will feature co-working spaces, private offices, and state-of-the-art meeting and conference rooms. Complementary business support services and events designed to foster company growth will also be integrated into the facility.
Strategically located in Tallaght town centre, the Innovation Quarter is under the ownership of South Dublin County Council. The larger development will encompass a cost-rental apartment scheme and a new public park, Innovation Square.
This ambitious €16 million project has received funding from the council, with additional support from the Department of Housing through the Urban Regeneration and Development Fund. The initiative is poised to significantly contribute to the local business ecosystem and further establish Tallaght as a hub for innovation and entrepreneurial endeavors.
