US-based tech company WP Engine is actively growing its European operations and is set to hire 20 new roles at its Limerick office. Specialising in WordPress services, including managed hosting, e-commerce, and enterprise solutions, WP Engine has been in Ireland for seven years, initially opening an office in London in 2014 and subsequently expanding to Limerick in 2016. The current recruitment drive encompasses various positions such as software engineers, pricing analysts, technical support, and more.
WP Engine has experienced significant growth in its Irish operations, evolving from a team of 10 to over 150 employees. Initially focused on technical WordPress support, the Limerick office now encompasses all aspects of the business. Haidee McMahon, WP Engine’s Limerick site lead, emphasised the strategic importance of the Limerick office to the company’s European expansion.
The expansion reflects WP Engine’s commitment to Ireland’s tech industry growth and its dedication to fostering local talent.
