Dublin: The Bank of Ireland is actively recruiting 100 technical experts to advance its digitisation efforts. The recruitment drive seeks specialists in data, delivery management, engineering, resilience, cyber security, cloud, open banking, API, and artificial intelligence (AI).
Last year, the bank saw an 18% increase in its digital user base. To enhance security, over 60 security settings have been integrated into the mobile app to address biometrics, fraud, and other threats.
The bank’s customer portal, introduced in the wealth and insurance sector, along with its digital advice platform, has received positive feedback. Earlier this year, Bank of Ireland also installed new ATMs across all its branches and invested €15 million in technology enhancements to combat bank fraud.
Ciaran Coyle, Bank of Ireland Group Chief Operating Officer, stated that the bank is committed to further enhancing its capacity, technology, and infrastructure to provide the best possible banking services to its customers.
