Dublin: AIB has announced an expanded strategic collaboration with Infosys to modernise its operations and enhance service delivery through AI-powered tools and digital solutions. The partnership, which builds on a decade-long relationship between the two organisations, aims to accelerate AIB’s digital transformation and drive long-term innovation.
As part of the agreement, Infosys will support AIB in expanding its application landscape and integrating cutting-edge technologies that will enhance operational efficiency and customer service. The initiative is expected to significantly strengthen the bank’s technology and data capabilities.
Graham Fagan, Group Chief Technology Officer at AIB, emphasised the importance of the collaboration, stating:
“Our partnership with Infosys will enable us to evolve our technology and data strategies, ultimately delivering improved experiences and outcomes for our customers. This is a key step in our commitment to digital innovation.”
AIB, which operates in both the Republic of Ireland and the UK, sees the collaboration as critical to maintaining its competitive edge in a rapidly changing financial services landscape.
Dennis Gada, Executive Vice President and Global Head of Banking and Financial Services at Infosys, described the partnership as a milestone:
“We are proud to deepen our relationship with AIB. This collaboration underscores Infosys’ ongoing commitment to Ireland and highlights our capabilities in delivering transformative digital solutions to leading financial institutions.”
This announcement follows another significant deal by Infosys last month—a five-year partnership with LKQ Europe, a major distributor of automotive aftermarket parts. In that engagement, Infosys facilitated the rollout of a unified, cloud-based digital HR platform across 18 countries, demonstrating its expertise in implementing large-scale enterprise solutions.
