Dublin: Health data platform Datavant has announced the launch of its global R&D centre in Galway, Ireland, with plans to create 125 jobs initially. The company will occupy the top two floors of the Calatrava building at the Bonham Quay campus, a modern, sustainable office complex in the city centre.
The 15,000 sq ft facility will support up to 160 workspaces and is designed to foster innovation, collaboration, and team engagement. Fit-out will be completed in phases, with the 7th floor ready by mid-September and the 6th by year-end.
Datavant highlighted Bonham Quay’s sustainability credentials—aligned with the One Planet Living framework and targeting Gold LEED, WELL, and Wired certifications—as a key factor in its site selection.
Deirdre Giblin, appointed VP of Operations and Site Lead for Datavant Ireland, will oversee the centre’s establishment. The Galway hub will support the company’s mission of making health data secure, accessible, and actionable through advanced technology.
