Sony Interactive Entertainment to Create 100 New Jobs with Dublin Expansion

Dublin: Sony Interactive Entertainment is set to create 100 new jobs with the opening of a new office in Dublin, supported by IDA Ireland.

The Dublin-based team will focus on research and development, enhancing digital operations and leveraging technology, data, and digital tools to optimise both customer and employee services.

Paul Walsh, Senior Vice President at Sony Interactive Entertainment, said the move reflects the company’s commitment to innovation and praised Ireland’s talent pool. “Dublin offers access to top-tier digital expertise and a strong business ecosystem that aligns with our vision for the future of interactive entertainment.”

IDA Ireland CEO Michael Lohan welcomed the investment, noting it underscores Ireland’s status as a global technology hub, while Minister for Enterprise Peter Burke said the announcement highlights the country’s ongoing efforts to foster growth in the tech sector and attract world-class talent.
