Dublin: Dublin just made comedy history. Samay Raina, one of India’s most popular stand-up comedians, has officially become the first Indian comic to sell the highest number of live show tickets in Ireland, with his upcoming show at The National Stadium, Dublin, on 13th June 2025.
The event, organised by GK Entertainment, sold out in record time—prompting the addition of a second show on the same day at 4PM.
This marks a major moment not just for the artist, but for Ireland’s growing Indian community and the broader celebration of multicultural voices in Irish entertainment.
“The response has been overwhelming,” said a GK Entertainment spokesperson, Gursharan. “It’s incredible to see Irish and Indian communities come together in support of something as universal as laughter.”
Samay will bring his brand-new Hindi-language show, Still Alive and Unfiltered, to the Dublin stage—blending sharp observations, modern desi humour, and global tour-tested material. The show is performed entirely in Hindi, making its wide appeal across generations even more impressive.
Ireland’s Indian population has grown steadily over the past decade, with an estimated 90,000+ Indians now calling Ireland home. Events like Samay’s are a reflection of that demographic shift—and show how Dublin is embracing multiculturalism not just in policy, but in pop culture.
“This isn’t just a comedy show—it’s a statement about where Ireland is going: forward, together, and laughing.”
added the GK team.
