Dublin: UK-based hospitality tech firm Kappture is expanding its software development operations to Galway, creating 20 new roles across computer vision engineering, software development, and commercial functions. Backed by IDA Ireland and Renatus Capital Partners, the company aims to further develop its AI platform, BRISK, and enhance its EPOS technologies.
Operating from the PorterShed in Galway, Kappture sees the city as a strategic location for innovation and AI-driven development. CTO Neil Haran praised the support from IDA and highlighted Galway’s potential as a creative and tech-focused hub. IDA CEO Michael Lohan noted the move reinforces Ireland’s standing in global tech and AI advancement.
