The public health officials said that 447 cases were reported on Friday (May 14) and a further 355 cases reported on Saturday.

There are 109 COVID-19 patients being treated in hospitals across the country, with 42 of them in intensive care units.

The daily COVID-19 figures were unavailable for the past two days due to a cyber-attack on the HSE IT system on Friday. The health department said that the daily case numbers may change as a result of future data validation.
