Russia will never win in Ukraine, says US president Joe Biden
Kyiv: US President Joe Biden visited Kyiv on the one-year anniversary of the start of the war in Ukraine. This trip to Kyiv by the American leader after almost 15 years was planned very mysteriously. Apart from the plane, Biden arrived in Kyiv by travelling ten hours by train from Poland.
Biden also paid a visit to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s official residence. It is the first time that the US President has visited Ukraine since 2008. The visit also has the hallmarks of an American president visiting the capital of a war-torn country.
Biden, who arrived at the Mariinskyi Palace, promised Ukraine new weapons and strong US support. Biden stated that the US has provided more assistance to Ukraine than any other NATO country. Biden also stated that over $100 billion in aid has already been provided.
Biden also offered new weapons worth $500 million. Provide anti-tank missiles, howitzers, and special artillery. According to Zelenskyy, the US President’s visit is a show of strong support. According to Zelenskyy, Russia’s defeat will be ensured by this support and assistance.

Biden said that the atrocities committed by Russia against the Ukrainian people are abhorrent. Nonetheless, Kyiv is proudly independent and powerful. “The American position on this issue is as firm as steel,” Biden said.

President Biden said that there is no plan to attack Russia as Putin says. He also stated that hundreds of thousands of Russian citizens seeking peace are not enemies.
Biden also stated that he would announce more sanctions against Russia this week. He also revealed that the US will host the NATO summit next year.
