Australia delivered a commanding performance to secure a 10-wicket victory over India in the second Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy at Adelaide Oval. Chasing a modest target of 19 runs on Day 3, openers Usman Khawaja and Nathan McSweeney sealed the win in just 3.2 overs. Skipper Pat Cummins led from the front, completing a five-wicket haul as India were bowled out for 175 earlier in the day. Mitchell Starc was equally impressive, claiming eight wickets across both innings, while Travis Head shone with a brilliant 140-run knock.
For India, Nitish Kumar Reddy was the lone bright spot, scoring 42 in both innings. Despite his efforts, India’s first-innings total of 180 proved insufficient.
