Applications Open for Newbridge Affordable Housing Scheme
Kildare: Applications are now open for Kildare County Council’s first Affordable Housing Scheme, offering eligible buyers the opportunity to purchase newly built homes at reduced prices. The online application portal opened on Wednesday and will remain open until 12 noon on September 11, 2025.
Developed in partnership with D&P Construction Limited, the scheme will deliver six modern homes between December 2025 and January 2026. The development includes a mix of two- and three-bedroom apartments and three-bedroom duplexes, designed to meet the needs of first-time buyers and other qualifying applicants.
Located just minutes from Newbridge town centre, the homes are within walking distance of local amenities. The site also offers excellent transport links, with Newbridge train station at Pearse Park only 200 metres away and easy access to the M7 and M9 motorways, ensuring connectivity to Dublin city centre and beyond.
Annette Aspel, Director of Services at Kildare County Council, said the scheme is aimed at supporting individuals and families who wish to secure a home at an affordable price.
