India’s Technological Progress Inspiring the World, Says PM Modi at 19th Rozgar Mela

Narendra Modi has said that India’s rapid technological advancement and the achievements of Indian youth are inspiring countries and global enterprises around the world.

Addressing the 19th edition of the Rozgar Mela in New Delhi, the Prime Minister reflected on his recently concluded five-nation tour and said there is growing international confidence in India’s economic and technological rise.

Modi said he held extensive discussions with political leaders and top corporate executives from several countries during the visit and observed a common sentiment everywhere — strong enthusiasm for India’s youth and technological capabilities.

“The world is excited about Indian youth and India’s technological progress. Many countries and global companies want to partner with India, and this is creating new economic opportunities,” the prime minister said.

He added that several nations are keen to become part of India’s development journey and that India is also strengthening partnerships with countries across the globe to ensure Indian youth receive greater international exposure.

Highlighting India’s emergence as a trusted global supply chain partner, Modi cited the agreement between Dutch semiconductor equipment giant ASML and Tata Group as a major example. He said such collaborations are rare and will create significant employment opportunities while opening the door to next-generation technologies in India.

The Prime Minister also pointed to India’s growing cooperation with countries such as Sweden, Norway, Italy, and the UAE in areas including artificial intelligence, supercomputing, clean energy, green hydrogen, and sustainable manufacturing.

According to Modi, partnerships in advanced technologies and green transition initiatives will further strengthen India’s technological ecosystem and create new opportunities for young professionals.

He also noted that cooperation with the UAE and Norway would help expand India’s shipbuilding sector and industrial capabilities.

During the event, Prime Minister Modi distributed appointment letters to more than 51,000 newly recruited employees as part of the government’s Rozgar Mela employment initiative.
