A storm warning has been issued across Ireland

Dublin: The Met has issued a warning that strong winds could lash across Ireland today. The national forecast warns of gusts of up to 110 km/h in Kerry and Cork.

Orange wind warnings are currently in place for Kerry and Cork, while yellow alerts have been issued for other parts of the island of Ireland.

A yellow warning is in effect until 3 p.m. today. Tomorrow the weather will be clear.

Wind warning for: Munster, Connacht, Donegal, Offaly, Laois, Kilkenny, Carlow, Wexford, Wicklow, Kildare, Dublin

Very strong W to NW winds. Gusts of 80 to 110 km/h, stronger in coastal areas & high ground. Wave overtopping in coastal areas.
