Betrayal from the British side; Ireland preparing to say ‘No-Deal Brexit’

Eventually it happened, and as some have said before, perhaps as everyone thought, Britain has betrayed others by changing their word.

Britain has betrayed the European Union and Ireland, rejected all that has been said and done, and continues to sneer at the world over all international agreements. Due to this reason, Ireland is preparing for a ‘no deal.’

Negotiations continue, but no one, including Irish Prime Minister Michael Martin, expects another deal to materialize.

The European Union (EU) is preparing to take legal action against the British government if it does not withdraw its new bill, which violates international law.

The UK’s new bill rejects all agreements signed in 2019 in connection with the withdrawal agreement, including the deregulation of the Irish island, because of this Irish Prime Minister is preparing for ‘No-Deal Brexit.’

Even though urgent talks between the European Union and the UK, the Prime Minister has openly said that Ireland has lost faith in Britain.

The Prime Minister explained that EU-UK relations could be considered the worst after the Brexit.

The new bill, introduced on Wednesday, violates all agreements on Britain’s withdrawal since the Brexit vote in 2016.

Martin said that concerns and frustrations were reported to the British Prime Minister over the phone, but to no use.

Britain has made it clear that the UK is fully committed to protecting the single market.

However, the Prime Minister made it clear that he did not believe it because the new bill is just the opposite of what Briton is saying.

Controversial legislation, the UK Internal Market Bill, gives British ministers the power to violate the terms of an agreement, including the implementation of the Northern Ireland Protocol, and to decide matters unilaterally.

The Irish Prime Minister said that this is what irritated the most and thus, they are getting ready for ‘No-Deal Brexit.’

Meanwhile, European Commission Vice President Maros Sefkovic visited Briton and asked the UK government to be prepared to withdraw from the doubtful bill.

He warned in a meeting with UK Cabinet Minister Michael Gove that violating the withdrawal agreement would violate international law and jeopardize trade deals.

It is the responsibility of Briton to execute the withdrawal agreement in a timely and complete manner.

He added that it was important to remember that Prime Minister Boris Johnson and his government were withdrawing from the agreement approved by the UK Parliament a year ago, including the Protocol on Ireland / Northern Ireland.

The European Union (EU) does not agree with the draft Bill’s goal of protecting the Good Friday (Belfast) agreement and in fact, the reality is that it works the opposite way.

Maros Sefkovic said the introduction of the bill had caused a serious loss of confidence in the UK.

“It is up to the UK government to restore that trust,” he said in a statement.
