Diwali celebrations in Ireland from tomorrow; Dublin City Council will also take part in the celebration

DUBLIN: Dublin City Council will join with Ireland India Council to take part in the COVID period Diwali celebrations.

The Diwali celebrations will be held from November 13 to 16 in compliance with the COVID-19 regulations.

The celebrations will be attended by many people from the political, social and cultural sectors.

Dublin City Council and Ireland India Council are inviting people to come together to participate in the virtual Diwali-Festival celebrations.

Dances, music, fashion, visual art and messages from distinguished guests will be part of this year’s online Diwali celebrations.

Diwali is celebrated as a symbol of victory of good over evil. Diwali celebrations have been held in Ireland since 2008 in association with Dublin City Council.

Program 2020

November 13 (Friday): Dhanteras celebration from 4 to 6 pm.

November 14 (Saturday): Naraka Chaturdashi from 4 to 6 pm.

November 15 (Sunday): Main celebration from 4 to 6 pm.

November 16 (Monday): Bhai Dooj and Govardhan Celebration from 4 to 6 pm.
