Hosts Germany are set to kick off Euro 2024 against Scotland in Munich, as per the draw conducted on Saturday. The defending champions, Italy, find themselves in a challenging group alongside Spain. The tournament, spanning from June 14 to July 14, will culminate in the final at Berlin’s Olympic Stadium.
Germany’s Group A includes Hungary, who navigated the qualifying campaign undefeated, and Switzerland. Julian Nagelsmann, Germany’s manager, expressed anticipation for the formidable group, stating, “It’s no group of death but a very strong group, and we are looking forward to it.” The draw took place at the Elbphilharmonie concert hall in Hamburg, one of the tournament’s ten host cities.
