England beat Iran 6-2 in their opening Group B match.
England began their FIFA World Cup 2022 campaign with a 6-2 victory against Iran in their first Group B encounter. Bukayo Saka’s brace, as well as goals from Jude Bellingham and Raheem Sterling, Marcus Rashford, and Jack Grealish, helped England complete the sweep. Iran’s Mehdi Taremi also scored a brace, including a consolation goal from the penalty spot.

NED seal 2-0 win vs SEN in Group A
The Netherlands defeated Senegal 2-0 in Group A thanks to goals from Cody Gakpo and Davy Klaassen. Senegal’s encounter against the Netherlands in Group A at Qatar’s Al Thumama Stadium.

Wales secured a 1-1 draw vs USA in their FIFA World Cup 2022 Group B
Wales drew 1-1 with the United States in their FIFA World Cup 2022 Group B match at the Al Rayyan Stadium in Qatar. In the first half, Christian Pulisic assisted Timothy Weah (36′) to give the United States the lead. Wales, though, retained their composure to equalise in the 82nd minute when Captain Gareth Bale struck a penalty. Wales was also making their first World Cup appearance since their debut in 1958. Meanwhile, the United States returned after missing out on Russia 2018.
