The Indian women’s cricket team will take on England in a one-off Test match at the County Ground in Bristol today (June 16, Wednesday) at 3:30 pm IST.
The Indian women are very excited as they are competing in the longest format of the game for the first time after a gap of 7 years. The last time they played Test cricket was against South Africa in 2014.
The Indian team, led by Mithali Raj, is confident as they had won their last three Tests, two of which were against England in England. But today’s match will be challenging for the visitors because they will be playing after a long break.
Apart from the only Test match, the two sides will face each other in three ODIs and three T20Is.
