Indian women’s visually challenged cricket team wins gold

The visually challenged Indian women’s cricket team made history by defeating Australia by nine wickets in the IBSA World Games.

India limited Australia to 114/8 in 20 overs before chasing down the revised goal of 42 in 3.3 overs.

Cricket for the visually challenged made its debut this year at the International Blind Sports Federation World Games.
This was the first World Games final, and India triumphed by nine wickets against Australia in a rain-affected final.
