O’Brien Associates & Recruitment specialists urgently looking for Healthcare Assistants (HCA) in Kilkenny location
This job is for an organisation that supports people with severe or profound intellectual and physical disabilities, under funded by HSE.
Annual Salary scale : €30,005 to €43,159
Essential criteria:
-Qualifications: A relevant certificate in Health Care Supports @ FETAC Level 5 (all 8 modules completed).
Or
Nursing qualifications.
-Minimum 2 years experience as HCA in Ireland.
-A full, clean Irish driving licence and own transportation are essential.
-Experience in supporting individuals to live a good life.
-Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
-Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office and report writing.
-Ability to work both on own initiative and as part of a team
-Ability to ensure a safe working environment.
-Basic hygiene and infection control / HIQA knowledge.
