In a virtual speech on Tuesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced the logo, theme, and website for India’s G20 presidency. In a big milestone, India will take up the G20 presidency on December 1, 2022. Our G20 Presidency’s logo, theme, and website represent India’s message and overarching priorities to the world.
“Guided by the prime minister’s vision, India’s foreign policy has evolved to assume leadership roles on the world arena,” the MEA stated.

During its G20 presidency, India will host over 200 meetings in 32 different sectors across the country. “We have to move forward with new energy while taking along the world with us”, PM Modi stated.
The G20 Summit, which will take place next year, will be one of the most high-profile international events ever hosted by India.
India’s foreign policy has evolved to take on leadership positions in the global arena, guided by the Prime Minister’s vision. The G20 Presidency provides India with a unique chance to contribute to the global agenda on key international challenges.
The G20 is the main platform for international economic cooperation, comprising around 85% of global GDP, over 75% of global trade, and roughly two-thirds of the global population.
The G20 summit will be held in Bali from November 15-16, and Prime Minister Modi is expected to participate.
