Rome’s Fiumicino Airport, has been voted Europe’s best airport

Rome’s Fiumicino Airport, also known as Leonardo da Vinci Airport, has won the award for best airport for the sixth year in a row. With over 40 million passengers, Fiumicino has been voted Europe’s best airport.

This recognition is given by Airports Council International (ACI), an international organisation that analyses the quality of more than 350 airports worldwide.

The award is based on the quality of services at Fiumicino and marks the first time in ACI survey history that the same airport has received the award six years in a row.

Fiumicino also received ACI awards for “Airport with the Most Dedicated Staff,”, “Most Beautiful Airport,” and “Cleanest Airport.”.

Rome Airport also received a 5-star rating from Skytrax, the principal rating and assessment company, earlier this year.
