The wait is over; ‘Wonder Woman 1984’ is set to hit American theatres by Christmas

The movie ‘Wonder Woman 1984’ directed by Patty Jenkins will hit American theaters by Christmas. The film will also be released online on HBO Max on the same day, said the crew members.

The release of the film was scheduled for June this year but was delayed due to COVID-19.

Gal Gadot plays the DC’s Superwoman character ‘Wonder Woman.’ The trailers of the film had been released earlier. Wonder Woman, released in 2017, was a huge box office hit. The new release is a continuation of that.

If the first part is related to what happened during World War II in the 1920s, the new film takes place in 1984. In addition to Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, Kristen Wiig and Robin Wright will play the lead roles. Pedro Pascal will perform the protagonist role in the film.
