What happens after level five! Active discussions going around

The Level 5 restrictions announced in Ireland in the wake of the Covid expansion are about to be lifted within a few days.

With this, discussions regarding ‘what to do after the Level 5 restrictions’ are active in the country.

Prime Minister Michael Martin has said the country will step down from Level 5 restrictions on December 1. At the same time, the government has not yet decided on the restrictions to be imposed after Level Five.

However, the country is expected to move to Level 3 regulation from December 1. Special restrictions may be imposed on Christmas period as well.

Discussions between the allied leaders on the imposition of new restrictions are also in progress.

It is reported that a final decision on the new regulation is likely to be taken at the cabinet meeting on Tuesday. An official announcement will follow on Thursday or Friday. Meanwhile, the government will also discuss the new decision with NPHET.

The government is scheduled to meet NPHET on Thursday. But the time has not been decided.

At the same time, there are indications that the opening of bars, restaurants and pubs during Christmas will be discussed in detail when the restrictions are relaxed.

People are hoping to be relieved to attend services, including Holy Communion, for Christmas.

There will be no travel restrictions on meeting relatives and celebrating Christmas.

Meanwhile, the Restaurants Association of Ireland (RAI) has come out in December demanding that people be allowed to sit and eat inside restaurants.

RAI Chief Executive Adrian Cummins said indoor dining in restaurants should be allowed in compliance with public health guidelines.

The LVA and VFI have come out with a proposal to allow pubs to open before Christmas.

At the same time, the government will announce in the coming days the guidelines for those coming to Ireland from abroad to celebrate Christmas.

According to the new traffic light system of the European Union, different restrictions will apply to people from different countries.
