Dublin: Met Éireann forecasts mainly dry conditions for St. Patrick’s Day, with scattered showers expected in Munster and south Leinster. While sunny spells are likely, especially in the west, cloud cover will increase throughout the morning. Temperatures will range from 7 to 10°C, with a moderate east to southeasterly breeze making it feel cool.

Week Ahead Forecast

The weather will remain settled and mostly dry until Friday, with sunny spells. Initially cool, temperatures will gradually rise midweek.

  • Tuesday: Mostly dry with sunny intervals; isolated showers in the southwest. Highs of 6 to 9°C, with moderate to fresh southeast winds.
  • Wednesday: Bright and dry, with highs of 8°C in the northwest to 14°C in the southwest. Winds will be light to moderate from the east and southeast.
  • Thursday: Sunny and milder, with temperatures ranging from 12 to 16°C, warmest inland.

From Friday onwards, conditions will turn unsettled, with rain and breezy weather due to nearby low pressure.
