Domino’s to donate 10,000 pizzas to frontline workers to thank them for their efforts

DUBLIN: Domino’s Pizza has announced that it will donate 10,000 pizzas in the coming weeks as part of its gratitude to the frontline workers in Ireland who are working tirelessly during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The company said it is proud to play a small role in the national effort by providing food to those at the frontline during this crucial period. Domino’s also lauded other businesses for supporting the country’s frontline heroes at this crucial time.

“We want to thank all the frontline worker heroes who are currently working hard to tackle Covid-19, and are pleased to be able to continue delivering contact-free hot food to those who need it most,” Domino’s Ireland country lead Clyde Jamison said.

At the same time, the company last year distributed 200,000 free slices of pizza to workers at Garda stations, hospitals, fire stations, hostels, homeless shelters and testing centres as well as vulnerable people.
