Dublin: The Dublin Fire Brigade battled a significant gorse fire in Killiney throughout the night, deploying three engines, a water tanker, and a wildfire-response jeep to Mullins Hill. Strong winds spread smoke across a wide area, and firefighters remained on site to manage flare-ups.
Separately, Gardaí are investigating a fire at the old Crumlin Shopping Centre after smoke was seen coming from vacant units on Monday evening. The fire was quickly contained, with no injuries reported.
