Happy St. Patrick’s Day!

In 1631, the Catholic Church established March 17 as a feast day to honour Ireland’s most famous and adored patron saint, Saint Patrick. With a few exceptions, March 17 usually falls during the Christian holy season of Lent.

The theme for St. Patrick’s Day is Irish and the colour green, so drinks, food, and parties are all centred around this. Traditionally, to get into the spirit of the day, green dressing and green-colored cuisine are made.
