“Ireland Braces for Cold Snap: Temperatures Expected to Plummet to Minus Two”

Dublin: Ireland braces for a return to wintry conditions as the Met Office forecasts plummeting temperatures over the weekend, dipping to as low as -2 degrees Celsius overnight.

The western regions are anticipated to experience a mix of rain, snowfall, and intermittent sunshine, while much of the country will remain dry with sunny spells. Isolated showers are possible, particularly in the southwest, before gradually spreading northwards to Munster, Connacht, and Leinster. Ulster is expected to stay dry, with temperatures hovering around 0°C.

Sunday is poised to bring heavy rainfall to Munster, Connacht, and southern Leinster, with the inclement weather gradually tapering off by the afternoon. However, the night ahead promises frosty conditions, with minimum temperatures ranging from -1 to +3 degrees Celsius.

As Ireland braces for the return of wintry weather, residents are urged to prepare for colder temperatures and potentially hazardous road conditions.
