For the past 17 years, the Ocean Project has coordinated World Oceans Day on June 8. This is a critical environmental concern. We obtain nourishment and medicines from the sea, and it helps to regulate the temperature. And there’s the thing about water being the “lungs of the earth” – it turns out that the ocean provides the bulk of the oxygen humans breathe. We always felt that the waves gave us new life. However, if we don’t take action to protect it, we’ll lose much more than a weekend vacation destination. So go ahead and do your part to keep the big blue strong.
