Microsoft to lay off 10,000 employees

Dublin: Microsoft is reportedly planning to cut thousands of jobs. According to reports, the global workforce will be reduced by 5%.

Microsoft employs 2,21,000 full-time workers worldwide. Microsoft has announced the elimination of 11,000 jobs. Human resources and engineering departments will be laid off.

Microsoft employs around 3,500 people in Ireland, with thousands of employees being laid off by Twitter and Meta.

In July of last year, the company laid off some employees. Later, in October of last year, the company cut 1,000 jobs.

Sales of Windows and Microsoft devices were down sharply.
