Dublin: Over 500 patients were awaiting hospital beds in Ireland, according to figures from the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation (INMO). Their trolley watch report indicated that, as of Wednesday morning, 371 patients were waiting in emergency departments, with an additional 133 in other hospital wards. University Hospital Limerick had the highest number, with 127 patients on trolleys, followed by Cork University Hospital with 57, and University Hospital Galway with 56.
