Revolut’s warning to consumers……..

Dublin: Revolut has issued a warning to its customers. Revolut, a money transfer app, has warned its users to be wary of scammers who use fake links.

Revolut has discovered that fraudsters are stealing money from many of its customers’ accounts. The company found that fake links were being sent to customers as text messages or mails from business numbers and other valid email IDs.

Stealing money from accounts through these fake links is on the rise. Under no circumstances should you click on such fake links, according to the warning. For money transactions, Revolut has added more security systems, such as artificial intelligence.

According to Aaron Elliott Gross, Revolut’s Head of Financial Crime and Fraud, the messages telling you to transfer money from the Revolut app are fake, and if you lose money from your account for any reason, you should contact the concerned financial institution right away.

He went on to say that, despite the warnings, some customers continue to transfer money incorrectly and fall victim to fraud.

Payments in international transactions are delayed.

Meanwhile, those who use Revolut to make international money transfers have complained that their funds have been delayed for several days in recent weeks. Many people who used Revolut to send money to other countries complained that the money did not arrive even after a week.
