The Food Safety Authority of Ireland (FSAI) has issued a recall for a specific batch of Tesco Finest Cranberry & Apple Stuffing due to the potential presence of moths in the product. Manufacturers, wholesalers, distributors, caterers, and retailers have been instructed to promptly remove the affected batch from sale and prominently display notices at the point of sale.
Consumers are strongly advised against consuming stuffing from the implicated batch, identifiable by its best-before date of September 2024. All Tesco stores will be removing this batch from their shelves to ensure customer safety.
The batch in question can be distinguished by its pack size of 130g. The recall is a precautionary measure to address the potential risk associated with the presence of moths in the product. Customers who have purchased stuffing from this batch are urged not to consume it.
