The protestors should not forget the Irish people who emigrated to other countries……

Dublin: The Green Party TD’s reminds those who are struggling against the refugees who are now arriving in Ireland not to forget the Irish people who migrated from the country to other countries in search of livelihood.

“Most of our relatives have fled Ireland in search of a better life abroad. In order for them to improve their lives in both America and Australia. Green Party leaders, Integration Minister Roderic O’Gorman, and Minister of State Joe O’Brien urged protesters to remember that their exodus has benefited Ireland.

Ministers condemned the actions of far-right parties who spread false information against migrants. Their efforts to prevent migrants from entering certain areas must be opposed.

Since the Russian invasion in February of last year, more than 100,000 Ukrainians have arrived in Ireland. More than 85,000 of those who arrived in the country have now been accommodated, enabling the government to serve better despite a severe housing crisis.

The government is committed to renovating derelict buildings, encouraging people who can provide a temporary home for Ukrainian refugees, and funding quick-build housing units in the hope of housing migrants arriving in Ireland. We are showing our Irishness to the world. That is our culture. Ministers said.

Mary Lou

Sinn Féin’s Mary Lou McDonald expressed concern that “a small group of vile individuals are attempting to direct attacks and negativity towards refugees.”

Yesterday in Parliament, TDs from several parties protested against the attacks on refugees.
