Indian Film Festival of Ireland will take place this time on a virtual platform; curtain will rise today (Friday)

DUBLIN: The curtain will be raised on November 20 (today, Friday) at 5 pm for the 11th Ireland Indian Film Festival (IFFI). The festival, which takes place online due to COVID-19 Pandemic, will end on the 23rd.

Apart from film screenings, the festival will also feature celebrity interviews and performances of Indian classical dances such as Kathak and Bharatanatyam.

Famous director Baba Azmi’s ‘Mee Raqsam’ will be screened at the festival.

Famous actor and director Vinod Pande has been awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award.

Mr.Siraj Zaidi is the festival director. Naz Chowdhury will host the interview.
