Gardaí seized €15,000 cash along with drugs and a double-barrelled shotgun

A double-barrelled shotgun, drugs and €15,000 cash was seized in Williamstown, Waterford City on Wednesday. A man and a woman have been arrested in relation to this.

The estimated value of the seized drugs (suspected Cocaine and Alprazolam tablets) is approximately €4,000.

The gardaí made the arrest was made today morning. A man (35) and a woman (34) were arrested and are currently kept at Waterford Garda Station.

The gardaí arrested a man, in his mid 20s, and a woman, in her mid 20s from the scene on Wednesday, but was later released.

Other than this, gardaí seized a small quantity of cocaine from a search carried out in St Herblain Park, Waterford on last Tuesday. Gardaí say investigations are still ongoing.
