Center Parcs to close down due to Covid-19

Center Parcs, the holiday village group took a decision to close the facility again today due to Covid-19 restrictions.

However the group has said that it is committed to the safety of its workforce of 1,000 people in County Longford.

Center Parcs Longford Forest has cancelled hundreds of bookings until at least Friday, October 30. 

A spokesperson said it would not be practical or appropriate to remain open and the safety of their guests and staff is their priority. They feel that their decision supports government’s guidelines.

They are not sure if 1,000 people who work in a full-time and part-time capacity with the company at their site near Ballymahon in County Longford will be returning to the pandemic payment scheme.

The spokesperson said that they are committed to protecting their employees jobs. As per Centre Parcs Their villages in UK remain open in line with the government guidance.

The company has assured the customers that either they will move their holiday break to a different date or arrange aa full refund as soon as possible.
