Jain Puramadom, president of the Drogheda Indian Family Association in Ireland, has passed away

Drogheda: The President of the Drogheda Indian Family Association in Ireland, Jain Puramadom (51) passed away.

Jain, a native of Aluva (Kochi, Kerala), has been undergoing treatment for the past few days.

He fell in his home and was admitted to Beaumont Hospital, where he received expert treatment, but his life could not be saved. Jain, who had moved to Drogheda from Phibs Borough of Dublin a few years ago, was well known to everyone in the Dublin area.

His wife, Shibi, and her eight-year-old daughter went to the country for a holiday last week. They returned to Ireland this morning after hearing about the accident. The death was confirmed at 5 today.
