Pakistan struggling in Kiwi’s soil

Tauranga: Pakistan batting collapsed in the first Test against New Zealand. Batting first, New Zealand were bowled out for 431 in the first innings and Pakistan were all out for 239 in the first innings. Pakistan skipped follow-on.

Only Faheem Ashraf (91) and Mohammad Rizwan (71) were the top scorers for Pakistan. None of the other players put up a good performance. Seven went missing without seeing double figures.

Kyle Jamison took three wickets for New Zealand, while Neil Wagner, Tim Southee and Trent Bolt took two wickets each. New Zealand’s best score came in the first innings when skipper Kane Williamson scored a century.
