Walk-in vaccination clinics reopening across Ireland this weekend for first and second doses; some will be open from today

DUBLIN: The Health Service Executive will reopen a number of walk-in COVID-19 vaccination centres across Ireland this weekend. The success of the walk-in clinics that operated over the previous weekends prompted the HSE to reopen them this weekend. The non-appointment vaccination facility also drew a large number of young people.

Anyone aged 16 and above who need their first or second dose of vaccine can use the service. The facility is set up at designated centres at specified times.

There is no need to register online before visiting one of these sites, but you must provide a Personal Public Service (PPS) number, phone number, email address, and photo ID, which contains your date of birth. People who do not have a PPS number can still be vaccinated if they provide proof of address.

There is no need to register online before visiting one of these sites, but you must provide your Eircode, mobile phone number, email address, and a photo ID that includes your birth date. People who do not have a PPS number can still be vaccinated if they provide proof of address. Alternatively, people can also register online in advance.

People who have already registered online and are waiting an appointment for their first dose can also go to a walk-in facility.

These clinics provide both the Pfizer/BioNTech and Moderna COVID-19 vaccines.

People who want to get their second dose of Pfizer vaccine must have received their first dose at least 21 days prior, and those who want to receive their second dose of Moderna vaccine must have received their first dose at least 28 days prior.
