Ireland Set for Warmer Weather as Temperatures Rise to 24°C, Says Met Éireann
Dublin: Met Éireann has forecast a notable rise in temperatures across Ireland this week, with conditions becoming increasingly warm and sunny. The national meteorological service predicts that temperatures could reach up to 24°C by Thursday, marking some of the warmest weather of the season so far.
Tuesday Outlook
Today, dry and sunny conditions are expected nationwide, with temperatures ranging from 16°C to 22°C.
Wednesday Forecast
Tomorrow will see partly cloudy conditions in northern Connacht and Ulster, with the possibility of light rain or drizzle in isolated areas. Daytime temperatures are expected to remain between 16°C and 22°C, with cooler conditions in the north and warmer temperatures in the south.
Thursday – Peak Warmth
Thursday is forecast to be warm and largely dry, with long spells of sunshine across the country. Temperatures may climb to 24°C, particularly in the midlands and western regions. Overnight, there is a chance of light rain, especially in parts of the southwest, where nighttime temperatures will range from 12°C to 16°C.
Friday and the Weekend
Friday will continue the trend of warm and humid weather, with highs of 20°C to 24°C, most notably in Connacht and western Ulster. The weekend is expected to remain hot, humid, and mostly sunny, although Met Éireann warns of the potential for heavy showers in some areas.
Residents are advised to stay hydrated and monitor local forecasts for any changes, especially in areas prone to sudden showers.
