AI Firm Anthropic to Create 200 Jobs in Dublin

Dublin: Anthropic, the developer of the AI assistant Claude, has announced plans to create 200 new jobs in Dublin by 2027 as part of its European expansion.

The new roles will span engineering, sales, finance, legal, compliance and operations, while the company will also expand its Dublin office space to 21,000 square feet to accommodate additional staff.

Anthropic said the move follows strong demand for its AI technology, with revenue across Europe, the Middle East and Africa increasing eleven-fold year-on-year. Irish companies including Wayflyer, Manna and Tines are already using its systems.

Welcoming the investment, Micheál Martin described the expansion as a strong vote of confidence in Ireland’s growing technology sector.
