Affidea Unveils Plans to Generate 180+ Jobs Across Ireland
Affidea, a leading provider of diagnostic imaging and out-of-hospital services, has recently unveiled plans to generate over 180 employment opportunities throughout the island of Ireland.
With a current footprint of 19 clinical facilities and a workforce of 400 individuals, the company’s 2023 investment strategy has already facilitated the establishment of 60 new positions. Furthermore, the inauguration of a new medical clinic in Belfast is expected to contribute to the creation of an additional 120 jobs.
Barry Downes, the Chief Executive of Affidea Ireland, emphasised that this investment will foster job growth across a diverse spectrum of roles, encompassing clinical positions such as radiographers, doctors, and nurses, as well as pivotal roles in management and administration. The expansion aligns with Affidea’s commitment to advancing healthcare services and contributing to economic development in the region.
