Bad Night for the men in yellow; SRH beats CSK by 7 runs

In the 14th match of Dream 11 IPL, Sun Risers Hyderabad won by 7 runs against the Chennai Super Kings.

CSK failed to cash in the wonderful opportunity they got while bowling. At a stage they were in a comfortable position and the SRH batsman struggled to score runs without loosing wickets.

Overthrows and dropped catches from the CSK side helped SRH to host a total of 164 with the lost of five wickets.

CSK made few changes in their line up from the previous match, Ambati Raydu and all rounder DJ Bravo retained their places in the squad.

While the top order of the SRH batting line up collapsed it was the young combo Priyam Garg (50) and Abhishek Sharma (31) who built a fantastic partnership and gave new life to SRH.

By batting second CSK opener Shane Watson gave away his wicket to Bhuvneshwar Kumar for just one run. SRH bowlers managed to run through the CSK middle order quickly enough.

Even though captain MS Dhoni (47) and Ravindra Jadeja (50) built a partnership towards the later period of the innings, it went in vain.

At a time CSK had to score 37 runs from 9 balls and ended up by falling short of seven runs.

Priyam Garg was named as the player of the match for his wonderful batting.

The continuous losses had pushed CSK to the bottom of the points table. The ex-champions have to try really hard for a comeback.
