Belgium edge past spirited Canada 1-0

Thibaut Courtois saved an early penalty, and Michy Batshuayi scored the only goal in Belgium’s 1-0 World Cup victory against Canada on Wednesday, ending the North American team’s return from the tournament after 36 years.
