Ryan Tubridy, connected to RTÉ’s payment scandal, claimed the fourth spot, outpacing even the searches for US President Joe Biden, who visited Ireland earlier in the year. The recently appointed presenter of The Late Late Show, Patrick Kielty, secured the seventh position.
The music world mourned the loss of several Irish legends, with names like Sinéad O’Connor, Shane MacGowan, and Christy Dignam featured prominently in the ‘Losses’ list.
