Dublin: A weather warning has been issued for Ireland this Sunday, with heavy rainfall expected to affect several regions. An orange alert has been announced for Cork and Waterford, with the warning in effect for 12 hours, starting from noon on Sunday.
In addition, a yellow alert has been issued for other counties in the south and southeast, including Kerry, Carlow, Wexford, Kilkenny, and Wicklow, as well as Cork and Waterford.
The Met Office has cautioned that periods of intense rainfall could lead to localised flooding. The adverse weather conditions are also expected to create hazardous driving conditions, making travel both difficult and dangerous.
